Sandy Barber Volunteer Award

This award is given to an individual who has demonstrated an exceptional and enthusiastic commitment to volunteerism to Region III.

Nominees should:

  • Be a current NCURA member in good standing
  • Have performed a minimum of five (5) acts of outstanding volunteerism and customer service (virtual or in-person)
  • Have not served as a Region III Executive Committee Member

Pam Whitlock Rising Star Award

This award is given to an individual in the early stages of a research administration career who has demonstrated willingness, enthusiasm, and dedication to the field of research administration and service to Region III.

Nominees should have: 

  • Seven (7) years or fewer as a member of Region III
  • Current NCURA member in good standing

Distinguished Service Award

This award will be presented to an individual who has more than ten years of experience in research administration and has made outstanding contributions to the field of research administration.
