Region III will need volunteers when we meet again! Please look over the roles below and see if any of them are of interest to you. If so, please contact Rick Smiley at smileyr@ecu.edu

Volunteer opportunities include:

HOSPITALITY SUITE: Responsible for keeping things running smoothly and assisting the Hospitality Committee Chair/Members to ensure that everyone stays safe and has fun. Past volunteers have played card games, trivia games, charades, ring around the flamingo, and many other activities. Bring your cameras!

REGISTRATION AND ON-SITE SERVICES DESK: Responsible for greeting arriving members and providing them with their Meeting Packet. The Registration Desk also serves as the On-Site Services Desk so members will come along and ask all kinds of questions! You will always have an “in the know” NCURA member at your side to help answer the random questions. This is a great way for our newer members to meet people!

EVALUATION COORDINATORS: This is an easy way to volunteer just by attending the sessions you were already planning to attend! An evaluation form will be e-mailed to each coordinator prior to the meeting which you will use to evaluate the sessions you agree to evaluate. Prior to the session starting, touch base with the speakers to confirm that they have everything they need. If anything is needed or if anything goes wrong with the projector/laptop after the AV team leaves, alert the Registration Desk volunteers and they will get someone to assist. During the session, take notes and add comments as appropriate regarding the content, presenters, etc. and complete the evaluation form. Return completed evaluations to the Registration Desk in the marked drop box.

AUDIO-VISUAL ASSISTANTS: Responsible for ensuring that all things AV are ready prior to the program sessions. You will also need to be available for Presenters or Evaluation Coordinators who need you when problems arise before or during sessions.
