Travel Award Description

The NCURA Region III Membership Committee is pleased to announce the travel award competition for the National Council of University Research Administrators 53rd Annual Meeting from 6 - 9 November 2011. Region III will provide the awardee's institution with $1,000 toward the cost of attending the Annual Meeting in Washington, DC.

Nominations are due no later than FRIDAY, SEPT 16, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. (EDT)

The nominee for the award must complete the attached nomination form and attach a one page statement indicating his or her professional development goals and how attendance at the annual meeting will contribute to the attainment of these goals.  In addition, the nominee's supervisor must attach a one page statement to support the application. This would be a great time to nominate someone (including yourself!) you think deserves this award. Nominations will be collected by the Chair of the Region III Membership & Awards Committee and one person will be selected by members of the Committee. The winner will be announced by October 3rd.
